GriefShare

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through life’s most difficult experiences
More Info

It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.  This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences; you don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.  Heartland’s GriefShare meets weekly and is led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. Gain valuable support and resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.

You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. You will be able to continue with GriefShare through the next 13-week cycle and view any of the videos you have not seen.

GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a loved one. Many other life situations bring deep grief, such as separation and divorce, a loved one who is dying, estrangement, loss of a loved one to a cult, loss of custody of a child through divorce and more. If you are struggling with a loss not due to a death, GriefShare is not designed to meet your grief needs for healing.  We encourage you to visit Celebrate Recovery or to ask your pastor or a church leader for guidance in finding a counselor. GriefShare meets Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Call the church at (270) 534-1400 for room details.

More Info

Divorced? Separated? Is it the end of the world? Am I the only person who hurts like this? What happened? Why me? What did I do wrong? How can I fix it? Do I even want to fix it? These and many more questions are addressed in the Divorce Care program. If you have children who are caught in the middle, Divorce Care for Kids (DC4K) can help them cope as well.

Find help and healing for you and your children as you deal with the hurt of separation and divorce. Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. Divorce Care seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable Divorce Care resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

These programs are for anyone who is separated or divorced. Whether it's been a while or just recently, relational break-ups are never easy.
